As I stood up to go and wash my face, in a loud voice Rodney boasted, “Get right!” Slamming the bathroom door I retaliated, “You gonna be wishing you sent them!” What tha fuck I meant was that they ain’ got nothing on me. Mrs. Anders came knocking on the door before entering with my questioning baby daddy on her heels.

“Are you alright child?” Mother Anders asked me in a caring, soothing, tone. I wanted to lay my head in her lap like I did on many other occasions and late nights that I couldn’t sleep while her son was in jail. I could remember my first pregnancy that I miscarried with Rodney’s first son, but hell he’d knocked Bella up with a baby boy too. Rod was in college and though I was in my junior year of high school everyone knew we were still together. I thought about murdering that tramp cause no one knew where she’d came from and Mr. Track star was terrified once he got caught hitting them holes. Mrs. Anders and I had a great relationship because she was busy molding me to have the courage, loyalty, and carry a weapon in the grace of the wife of a king pin on the rise. She’d endured the pain once before and was her sons true rider.

“Mama, I’m fine”. I finally answered before sending my best friend Madison a text to come down strapped. Taelor didn’t jump out of line too bad but that bitch Bella thought she was upper echelon to my ass whippings. I grew up like a boss and my mother and father spared no expense to my request, given that my father was powerful at making major moves. Rodney gave me a dirty glance as they both left me in privacy and the only words I could mouth to him were, fuck you. Was I really done with him? I started thinking. I had to get out of that house and enjoy the vacation I planned for my baby boy.

“Hey kids!” I yelled down the long hallway that leads into the kitchen, “Who wants to go swimming and to the movies?” They all started jumping up and down and yelling to their grandma to put on their shoes. Niyla and Layla both came over to me to hug me and say how much they love me. Rodney envied their remarks because he’d yet again looked at me with malice in his eyes. I would never hurt him or keep the kids away from him so I snapped and asked them to ask if their daddy would like to come. They did and he said yes, of course!

We chose the closest hotel for privacy because I was very funny about who came around my children. We went out to the pool area and the whole family had a blast. I definitely enjoyed myself as I was sitting beside Rodney and informing him on my visitor who was en route. Rod was puffing on a cigar and getting just as drunk as I was because Mrs.
